The academic complex of the institute was one of the biggest I had seen in the country. There were students from all parts of the country and even foreign students who were enrolled here. One could hear diverse languages being spoken inside the campus. The institute provides world class facilities to the students so that they are able to do big after the passing out from here.
The research centres of the institute have done quality researches and novel discoveries in the fields of biotechnology and nanotechnology. The academia industry linkage of IIT Guwahati is a model which should be followed by all the institutes of India. The students of this prestigious university have plans and methods to solve all the complex social and economic problems faced by our nations. We all felt that such institutes should be made in every state by providing the necessary infrastructure and quality faculty to train these young minds.
The visit to the academic complex of IIT Guwahati ended in 2 hours. After this we went to have dinner and tried some local cuisines and dishes. The next day we decided to begin our adventures by visiting the Kamakhya temple, one of the most holy temple dedicated to tantric goddesses.
