The royalty of a ruler is stated by his luxurious castle. A king is the perfect way to describe how I felt like whilst spending my time at The Hotel Asia the Dawn Shimla. This huge 3-star property was no less than a quaint castle. I think when I pictured a perfect break from my work, I discovered this was the perfect picture of the place I was going to stay, which is the beautiful city of Shimla. This hotel had all the facilities I desired and always wished to have when I travel.
The hotel is situated in Kachi Ghatti, 6 km away from the famous Mall road in Shimla. There also was the famous Christ church barely 4 km away which was definitely a must visit on my itinerary. My room was really spacious and well furnished. I stepped down in the beautiful lawn of the hotel in the morning only to see the beautiful Japanese garden I had been hearing so much about from the hotel staff. It was a perfect place for me to meditate. After a refreshing session of meditating, I gave a visit to the fitness centre to pay some heed to my health and fitness. It was an absolute treat for me to discover an In house spa in the hotel premises. I spent a couple of hours rejuvenating myself before I went down to the hotel restaurant for a delicious and satisfying lunch. It was not long before I realized the hotel had a pool which was an absolute pleasure for travelers like me.
I put my swimming clothes on and went down for a dip. I spent an entire evening by the poolside sipping onto my Pina Colada and wondering how beautiful the life is away from all the work and stress related to it. I even clicked numerous pictures of the panoramic and beautiful view the window of my room pointed out to. Any photographer could not resist this pleasure if he looked out that window and saw the beautiful view as I did. The stay at The Hotel Asia the Dawn Shimla just added to the effective refreshment this trip had on my soul. I plan to visit the Rashtrapati Niwas Shimla next as I leave the hotel to discover more about the city.
