Took a recent official trip to Hyderabad and I already decided to explore all the prime explorations at this popular town. Came to Salar Jung Museum and should say that never seen a museum like this. Totally marvelous!

I was very happy with the services offered by the Golkonda Resort and Spa that I had booked for my stay in Hyderabad. I settled in the room took rest for a while and then set out to explore the city. There are ample of tourist attractions in Hyderabad but the one which I was most eager to visit was the Ramoji Film City. I had heard and read a lot about this very own version of Disney Land that India has developed and hence was very much enthusiastic about visiting the same. The Ramoji Film City is located in close proximity to the Anaspur village in Hayathnagar Mandal, Hyderabad. It is well connected to the city via public transport such as auto, cab and public buses. This film city is actually an amusement park and is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Hyderabad. It is the best place for adventure seekers and fun lovers. Children love to visit this park and have a really gala time here. The entry fee for entering the park is not very high. You can choose from various packages available. The entry fee for a guided tour per adult is Rs 900. Food is not included in this package. For children the same general guided tour without food is available at Rs 800. For the Ramoji City’s Star experience package the fee for adults is Rs 1900 per person and for children the tariff is Rs 1600 per person. This package comes inclusive of food.
The timings for entry in the Film City are from 9 am to 11 am only. The park closes at 5:30 pm and is open for public on all days of the week. It would take you around 3 to 4 hours to cover the entire area of the film city. There are elements and props from the Indian cinema used to make the amusement park all the more engrossing. This film city is named after its owner Ramoji Rao who is a famed Telugu film director. The Ramoji Film City holds the proud title of being the largest film city in the world as mentioned in the Guinness book of World Records. Nehru Zoological Park Hyderabad : Nature simply sweeps me! Whenever I go for a vacation I make sure the trip involves rich flora and fauna. This year my Hyderabad trip was simply fabulous. I enjoyed a thrilling safari inside the Nehru Zoological Park and got an opportunity to see the wild cats. The zoo is huge enough to occupy hundreds of flora and fauna species.
Hi folks! In this post I will be sharing the experience of my travel from my home town Agra to the beautiful city of Hyderabad. I am an architect and ancient monuments always lure me towards them. This vacation I planned a trip to the city of Hyderabad as it has a very rich culture and abounds in various historical structures. The very first thing that one needs to arrange for while planning a trip is the travel tickets and accommodation in the city. So I searched for various available alternatives on the internet and finally booked my air tickets from Agra to Hyderabad on Indigo airlines. I prefer budget travel hence this air carrier was the best option for me. I have also had a good experience travelling with Indigo Airlines to a couple of other domestic destinations. This budget airline offers affordable aviation services to customers and hence is one of the most popular air carriers of India. The in – flight services offered by this low cost carrier are quite decent given the price. If you are searching for best hotel and flight deals you can also search for popular travel websites that offer air tickets as well as accommodation to various destinations at discounted rates. You might be able to save a lot of toil and time by securing the best Hyderabad flight and hotel deal via popular travel portals. As I was unable to find a direct flight from Agra to Hyderabad so I travelled via two routes. Firstly I boarded a train from Agra Cantt to New Delhi railway station. The Jhelum express is a nice train to travel in as it has less stoppages and the pantry service offered by this train is also quite decent. Hereafter I boarded an Indigo airlines flight from the Indira Gandhi airport in New Delhi that took me to my destination at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. The journey was very comfortable and I reached to my destination afresh. I already had my cab waiting at the airport to take me to the hotel that I had booked for my stay in the city.
This weekend was the laziest one, where all I will was to rest. Sadly, there were guest home and had to visit the kitchen. Never mind, I cooked Palak Panner in 10 mins. An easy dish for all those who have microwave. The tricky part is all feel its stove cooked. Material
Method
Everyone would just lick their finger, all you do is prepare it hassle free in 15 mins maximum. A tip cut panner into cube shape and medium size. Prior eating you can add cream from top it gives a rich taste. Also if possible have this with a typical Punjabi lachedar paratha. Hope you all would like it , let me know your valuable feedback. Whenever I see big monuments I would feel it all started from just small stones. Together, these small stones and bricks when put together, becomes a beautiful architectural excellence. Being an architect, this is how I see success! The quote of Winston Churchill stays as a wall hanging in my house and gives an ideal push in my career.
A building with the intensity to harbor science as it simultaneously creates history, Ranchi Science center is one of its kind. Based on the purpose of educating by demonstrating, a trip to Ranchi Science Center can prove eye opening. When I first set my eyes on the building, it looked like any two storied building. But as you set your foot inside you are set two explore three thematic galleries that look larger than life. It is open to everyone, but young minds are ones who stand out in the list of beneficiaries. The fun gallery utilizes concave convex mirrors, magic tricks, and other scientific instruments in order to explain the basic principles of science in a fun-learning way.
Although adult minds do not stay aloof from the benefits as they too are partakers of knowledge. The thematic gallery on tribal life unravels the social and scientific relevance that I am sure is not many are acquainted with. Whereas one section is utilized to depict the wealth of the state in all form of its typical trees. If it wasn’t enough we see exhibits of dinosaurs and other pre historic life along with scientific swings, a water body and other tourist harboring sheds. The entire capital of the museum is said to cost some 6.5 crore which is shared equally between the Government of India and Government of Jharkhand. As it is said that there is no age for education similarly there is no reason toy should bar yourself from visiting the epitome of knowledge whose sole focus is “education by demonstration”. It was a real eye opener and it made me realize when we learn things this way it will be etched in our memory and there will be no chance of forgetting it . I am sure this visit will be ever etched in my memory and I it was an interesting trip , which all of us relished feeding our soul and our heart! Have you ever felt as if God tried to talk to you through nature? Well, I have. Viewing Jonha fall, is the most beauteous natural sight I have ever beheld. The music that the water produces while falling from the great Ranchi plateau sounds heavenly. As if the sight itself wasn’t enough, its association with Lord Buddha elevates it even further. Gautamdhara, the name it derives because of it from being kissed with heavenly grace. History speaks tales of Lord Buddha bathing here. The sons of Raja Baldevdas Birla built a temple and ashram dedicated to Buddha atop the Gautam Pahar. The ashram was originally associated with Hindu devotees as well as all branches of Arya dharm (Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, Sanatani, Aryasamajis), as per proclaimed by a sign here. I do not know if its association with Gods is its source of beauty or if it is a shouting example of nature’s serenity but it is hard to disregard its aesthetic value. It is also referred to as the hanging fall because of the nature of its fall which is situated at the edge of the plateau. According to sources, ”The Gunga River hangs over its master stream, Raru River and forms the falls”. Geographically the Jonha Fall is the example of a nick point. A nick point is a break in the slope of a river profile caused by renewed erosion by a rejuvenated river.
Due to its aesthetic beauty it has become a tourist destination for many ardent explorers. The Jharkhand Tourism has lend a helping hand and has created some tourist rest places and constructed somewhat 500 steps leading to the bottom of the fall. Due to absence of deep pool plunge beneath the waterfall, it is one of the safest waterfalls in Ranchi. One can even bathe just beneath the water fall as the bottom is filled with sand making it even safer. A lot of geographical as well as religious explanations of the fall are propagated but after visually devouring it feels like only poetry can do justice to its description. Or maybe it itself is a poetry by the nature’s Bard. Jharkhand Dhuska : Traveling is easier than anybody thinks and for me it is a hobby! Actually, eating can also be added in this list of my hobbies. Jharkhand Dhuska. Well, you think I am talking about a place. No, it is a dish more like an Indian Bajji. A perfect evening snack…
The Nakshatra Van as the name describes is formed by the coalition of “Nakshatra” and “Van”. Standing as an epitome of indigenous science the park gets its origins from the Hindu Astronomy. “A Nakshatra or lunar mansion is one of the 27 or 28 divisions of the sky, which is identified by the prominent star(s) in them. Each Nakshatra is associated with a Zodiac, which is related to celestial bodies and their movements in sky. Astrologers believe that each constellation of the zodiac is associated with a tree and is of great medicinal value.” – These are the insights you get about Nakshatra Van when you look it up on the internet and like any typical tourist I had researched about the place I am about to visit and got this plain explanation. But when I actually got there the scene before my eyes was mind boggling. I felt really proud that being established in 2004, in the era of progressive sciences old knowledge is not allowed to slip away. The park is a reminiscence of the very same idea. What makes the park stand out is the fact that it is India’s first where the medicinal plants grow in sync with the planetary positions. And a person like me who has no such knowledge of astronomy stands to benefit a lot.
How can a person not understand when he is standing in the visual explanation of the same? Mimicking the solar system the park is in the form of a circle with a musical fountain at its center. Medicinal trees resembling particular zodiac signs are planted in the circle in a way that it subtends arcs along it in accordance with the astronomy. If this wasn’t enough, the goddess of medicine, Dhanvatari, in the form of a statue indulges in peaceful slumber adding to the aesthetics. Apart from this eye opening educational experience, you benefit to see some very rare medicinal plants along with beautiful representation of flowers in the Flower Garden. If you are an ardent reader there is Medicinal Plant Library waiting for you while your children can enjoy themselves in the Children Park. It is a treat for all science enthusiasts, nature lovers as well as for all those who love exploring. |
