The trip to the KBR National park ended on a high note. We were all refreshed after this wonderful visit amidst the lush green surroundings. After the trip to the KBR National Park we went to visit the most popular spot in Hyderabad which is known as the Husain Sagar Lake. There are many manmade lakes which were made by rulers in the ancient times and Husain Sagar Lake is surely one of those majestic lakes of India.
As one enters the boulevard across the lake smooth and cool air caresses them as a welcome to this area. There is a Tank Bund in the lake which serves as the border between the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The Lake was built by the efforts of Hazrat Hussain Shah and is named after him.
The main charm of the lake comes from the monolithic statue of Lord Buddha found in the middle of the lake. The view of the statue from the boulevards of the lake gives a stunning view to capture. There are many activities which one can undertake while visiting the Lake such as water sports, boating, and many other cultural programs which are organised every month.
