Cochin is one of the major commercial hubs of Kerala. But apart from being a big city it also has several hidden tourist spots which are definitely must see for any person visiting it.
While we were in Cochin we visited another interesting place called the Hill Place. Though the name makes it sound like a hotel but the Hill Palace is actually an archaeological museum. Earlier it was known to be the home for the Royal Family. The government later converted it into an archaeological museum and opened it to the public.
When we reached the museum at around 9 in the morning, there was a small queue at the gates. The queue moved quite quickly, and soon it was our turn. The entry is Rs. 20/- for adults and 10 for children.
