As a child, I was always fascinated towards buildings and its structures. My thoughts and ambition never changed even as I grew. Today I am proud to be an architect and working on some of the interesting projects in my hometown. Here is little guidance for architect aspirants; I am sharing my own experiences on how to become an architect:

- Joint Entrance Exams (JEE) to obtain admissions in premier institutes of Indian Institute of Technology.
- State and national level exams conducted by Council of Architecture.
- To study in design and architecture schools of Tamil Nadu, you can appear for the exams conducted exclusively by Tamil Nadu.
- A number of private institutions conduct their own entrance exams.
- Prepare well and appear for aptitude tests in various sections like color ideas, functional talent, freehand pulling and visible and spatial perception.
- Approach the job with logic, which is base for, any successful project.
- Educational capabilities, which means applying of your education in the right way for a productive result.
- Ability to understand a person’s dreams and visualize it in the most appropriate manner.
- Effective communication to produce an effective picture of the assigned project.
- Great imagination skills, which can turn dreams into reality.
- Understand the requirements well and value the reviews of the people.
- Have a clear picture of architecture before beginning a project.
